ANSI 300 also known as ASME B16.5 ANSI 300. ANSI is abbreviation for American National Standards Institute. This flange table is most common in mining, Oil, Gas & refining industries. Advanced Piping Systems manufacture ANSI Flanges to suit both Mining & high spec for refining of Gas & minerals. ANSI 300 is rated to 19.6 Bar (PN20) Bar @ 20 deg C. Many mining companies request Ansi 300 Flanges in AS2129 Table E thickness for which can be rated to PN16. This is a good option for above ground installations as it significantly reduces the weight of the flanges, in PN10 & SPN12.5 pipe full thickness is not necessary. ANSI 300 is also used as a standard in Australia for domestic gas reticulation. Advanced Piping also manufacture Higher spec ANSI 300 & 600 flanges for specific applications normally these are used in PN25 & PN32 piping.
