Backing Rings
AS4087 Was first Introduced in 1996 for the water & supply services to supersede in time AS2129. By 2005 4087 standard was fast becoming the new norm, with authorities using it for new installations and recognising the standard as what the industry would work to going forward & has become the new common flange standard now for water works & Utilities in Australia. The standard flange used is PN16. The higher rated PN21 & PN35 are the same as the AS2129 table F & H.
