Long Spigot End Caps

Advanced Piping Systems manufactures large diameter short end caps.

As the design of each end cap is very critical for equivalent pressure rating to pipe class, the cap needs to be thicker than the specific pipe wall thickness. Each end cap is engineered to cover for water hammer, temperature variance and pressure spikes.

PE100 end caps can be utilised for many other purposes other than just a permanent line end. One unique use is on top of an inverted reducing or equal tee. This creates an air trap to remove small bubbles that form and reduce the performance of a pipeline.

We manufacture these air traps with a threaded 1” or 2” port with ball valve and dual acting air realise valve. This can be provided with a 3” or 4” flanged air release valve for larger diameter pipelines.

We also provide the option for filling and draining your pipeline with cap threaded sockets, which allow the pipeline to be tested and serviced with ease.

Advanced Piping Systems’ end caps, which can be buttwelded, are available in SDR11 from 20 to 1200mm and SDR17 from 280mm to 1600mm.
