True Y Pieces 90 degree
Fittings Made from Pipe
Fabricated true Ys are standardly manufactured so the two legs are at 90-degrees in a capital “Y” shape. True Ys are used in many industrial applications, such as pump stations for adding an auxiliary backup pump, dewatering suction, and delivery lines. They are also used in dam transfer, dust suppression reticulation systems, and product bin feed splitters. The beauty of this fitting is that instead of using an equal tee, the true Y will minimise friction loss when used as a splitter, it will also reduce wear with silty water and maximise performance. Many low-pressure reticulation systems use these fitting as their line-end and connect lay flat hose onto the two legs. Talk to us about junctions and our poly hose tails.
