Fittings Made from Pipe
Fabricated Junctions are widely used for gravity systems, or high wear entries and discharges, such as tailings distribution and waste transfer.
They are also very useful entry points for cleaning pigs or pig entries. We recommend moulded junctions where possible – these are available in sizes up to 315mm.
For larger sizes we manufacture in all SDR, up to 1000mm. We standardly manufacture junctions from SDR11 PN10 and SDR11 PN16 Pipe. Please note as per PIPA Guidelines, fabricated junctions should be derated by 50% to .5 of the pipe class they are fabricated from.
In manufacturing from PN25 pipe we can pressure rate to PN12.5, which in most cases will be more than adequate.
