Advanced Pipings Systems ISO wipes, also known as isopropyl alcohol wipes, are commonly used in welding to clean surfaces prior to welding.
When butt welding, it is important to clean the surfaces to be welded thoroughly to ensure a strong and high-quality weld. ISO wipes are a convenient and effective way to clean the surfaces quickly and easily.
To use ISO wipes for butt welding, first, make sure the surfaces to be welded are free of any oil, dirt, or other contaminants. Then, wipe the surfaces with the ISO wipe, making sure to cover the entire surface area.
After cleaning the surfaces, proceed with the welding process as usual. The clean surfaces will help ensure a strong and reliable weld.
