End Caps
End Caps

Advanced Piping Systems manufacture large diameter short-end caps. With the design of each end cap being very critical for equivalent pressure rating to pipe class, the cap needs to be thicker than the specific pipe wall thickness. Each end cap is over engineered to cover for water hammer, temperature variance, and pressure spikes. PE100 end caps can be utilised for many purposes other than just a permanent line end. One unique use is on top of an inverted reducing or equal tee. This creates an air trap to remove small bubbles that form and reduce the performance of a pipeline. We manufacture these air traps with a threaded 1” or 2” port with ball valve and dual acting air realise valve. This can be provided with a 3” or 4” flanged air realise valve for larger diameter pipelines. We also provide the option for filling and draining your pipeline with cap threaded sockets, which allow the pipeline to be tested and serviced with ease. Advanced Piping end caps can be buttwelded and re available in SDR11 from 20 to 1200mm and SDR17 from 280mm to 1600mm.
